Looking closely at Nettle-leaf Giant Hyssop – Agastache urticifolia – you can see the “irregular” whitish flowers (with five fused lobes) with long anthers sticking out. The 4 pointed sepals are pinkish. The oval, toothed leaves are aromatic and sit opposite one another, each pair set at 90-degree angles from the one below. The 2-4’ stems are square. These are characteristics of the Mint Family.
